Use Variance

Stonefield provided professional planning services to support a new operation within an existing industrial building in Clifton, NJ.  A detailed site walk-through was conducted to determine the proximity of the operation to neighboring buildings and uses.  Also, a meeting with the applicant was conducted to fully understand the extent of the operation proposed including truck deliveries, parking, improved lighting and other operational changes to the site.  The proposed use of the site was understood to be an approved conditional use but did not meet all required conditions thereby requiring proofs for a use variance.  Stonefield presented the merits of the case before the City of Clifton Zoning Board.
