Residential Development – New Brunswick, NJ

Stonefield prepared a traffic report which found that the proposed development would not have a significant impact on the traffic operations of the adjacent roadway network. The site’s proximity to Downtown New Brunswick, NJ Transit bus stops, county bus stops, and the New Brunswick Train Station would contribute to a reduction in automobile use and reduce the need for automobile ownership by residents. Based on ITE Journal article research and local characteristics of the site and surrounding area, the parking supply with the additional off-site leased parking spaces would be sufficient to support this project. Under the proposed development program, the existing structures would be razed and a six (6)-story mixed-used development consisting of 45 residential units and 1,020-square-feet of ground floor office space would be constructed.
