Dewatering Coordination

As development shifts to increasingly more urbanized areas, excavations within densely developed areas may require dewatering (especially as foundations become deeper to accommodate taller buildings as shown in the photograph above). Dewatering discharges during construction are heavily regulated based on the scale of the project and the composition of the groundwater. Stonefield will work with local and state agencies to determine the design of the dewatering filtration as well as the discharge location to ensure that adequate capacity exist downstream, downstream stability is not affected, and water quality is monitored.
