The Stonefield team developed a plan for a new 295,227 SF warehouse facility in Secaucus, NJ. Since the site is located within the flood hazard area, the design required raising the site 5-6 FT in order to meet NJDEP requirements. In addition to the NJDEP, the project obtained Site Plan approvals from the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission, the Soil Conservation District, and the Town of Secaucus. Other design challenges included improving the existing drainage system and providing an efficient layout for large truck maneuverability. Finally, the project has a robust landscape plan, including extensive buffer areas throughout the site. Construction is scheduled to be completed this fall.
