Chase Bank Bernardsville

During the site design of Chase Bank’s first branch in Bernardsville, grading and earthwork were a major focus of the layout. Due to the desired size of the building and atypical parcel shape, the parking lot was minimized and a remote drive-thru was utilized to provide sufficient room for the tiered retaining wall wrapping around the rear of the site. Additionally, site access (both pedestrian and vehicular) was challenging as there was an elevation change of over 7 feet from the public right-of-way to the building’s main entrance. Stonefield worked closely with Chase to ensure that bank’s standards were met despite the atypical layout.
